How does Qatar Airways business class compare to others?

We like the food and service. The amenities can get repetitive to the point where we don’t appreciate them as much as a new traveler would.

What I love most about Qatar business is that there are no fixed meal times and I can order anything on the menu anytime. Feels like a restaurant in the sky. Other stuff and quality is solid business class and better than most: Swiss, Lufthansa, United etc. To me Qatar business is in the same tier as Emirates but not as nice as SQ.

Ate like 3 orders of the lamb belly on one flight

Qsuites - 10/10

Qsuites were very nice for the family. It was myself, my wife, and two kids under 4. They allowed us two seats in the center, and put down the half wall and turned our two suites into one large one with a massive ‘bed.’ Was great, kids could lay out and sleep while mom and dad could relax.

Qsuites are solid. Don’t have a particular preference between them and SQ, but those two are my favorite. (Only done like 9 or 10 different ones, though)

Have yet to try Q Suites! Would love to try. Have done Singapore Airlines many times, very interested in comparing. One fear I have is that I’ve read that Qatar Airlines regularly does equipment swaps, and very few (% wise) of their planes have Q suites. And even if you book a suites business, the plane could get swapped out to a non-Q suites business. Has this happened to people on this forum?

I live in Qatar and fly frequently. It’s mentioned at the time of booking if you book through QA. I probably have it 75% of the time.
