Looking for a quiet resort in Thailand… any ideas?

Sorry if this isn’t the best spot for this, but I’m planning a trip to Thailand in a few weeks. I want a resort or retreat that’s really centered around:

  • Wellness and healthy food
  • Meditation
  • Near the beach
  • Drug-free vibe (nothing against it, just not my thing)
  • No ‘extra’ stuff, just trying to unwind

Also, I’m going solo, so ideally a place where single travelers fit right in.

Anyone know a spot like this? Appreciate any suggestions!

Chiva Som in Hua Hin. Has everything you’re asking for.

Easy… Amanpuri. Really stands out—one of the top places worldwide, for sure. If it’s a bit pricey, try the Four Seasons Koh Samui. Also fantastic.

Check out Tongsai Bay… and there are so many other options too.

What’s your budget looking like?

Pretty open-ended, honestly.

Alright, I’d suggest Keemala. It’s not on the beach but close enough. It’s an amazing hideaway with a focus on wellness, but not overly spa-like. It might look a bit honeymoon-ish at first, but I know from the manager that a lot of solo travelers stay here. Actually, some even end up extending their trips.
