My girlfriend and I are planning a last-minute trip to Montenegro this month. Does anyone have suggestions on where to stay and the best places to eat? Also, are there any fun excursions we should check out while we’re there? Any help would be great!
Definitely O&O! I stayed there last year along with Regent Porto and O&O is the best resort there by far.
It has 60 acres of waterfront, and the rooms give you a Riviera vibe, mixing classic Mediterranean style with modern luxury.
Put on your hiking boots and join Saša Kulinović, the mountain guide at O&O. He takes you to some of the most stunning spots in the country with his local knowledge. Get ready for views right out of a magazine.
I also loved the wellness options. I suggest checking their wellness brochure and treating yourself to one of their special programs.
You can hop on one of their boats to explore nearby places like Perast or swim in the Blue Cave. And if you’re a foodie, the dining options are amazing, from Japanese-Peruvian fusion to real Montenegrin dishes.
O&O is the only true luxury spot there. Montenegro is very much a self-drive country. Porto Novi feels like a ghost town, especially in the off-season.
Mamula could be another option, but the Aman is only using one building now.
Also, the weather in November might not be great.
You might want to look into renting Villa Lastva in Tivat, a lovely place on Airbnb. It’s more in town, but again, the weather may not be ideal.
Regent is also a good choice; there’s more to do in Porto Montenegro, but the food is just okay.
Best to explore the bay by speedboat. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions. I lived there for about a year recently.
My girlfriend and I did a similar last-minute trip to Montenegro, and Alotea, our luxury concierge, made it amazing! We stayed in Kotor, such a beautiful old town with lots of great restaurants. Don’t miss a boat trip to Our Lady of the Rocks or a scenic drive along the Bay of Kotor. Alotea handled everything from bookings to restaurant reservations. Definitely worth considering their services!
