Hey everyone, I’m an 18-year-old guy from Australia, and I’ve got the chance to travel to China in a few months. I’m thinking about recording my travels and posting them on YouTube to show the beauty and advancements of China. Do you guys think it would be a good idea? There are so many travel YouTube channels out there. Just go and enjoy your trip, man.
The idea isn’t really bad or good. If you want to do it and you have the money for it, and you like vlogging, then go for it. But if you’re planning to make money back through ads, I wouldn’t suggest it. I record a lot of videos every year but barely post them. My most viewed video has around 30K views, and I’ve never earned anything from it. Still, I enjoy taking the videos and editing them, and it’s fun to look back at them now and then.
