What makes a tour feel really luxurious?

For me, here’s what matters:

  1. Private airport transfers
  2. A guide who knows the locals and can get us into unique restaurants
  3. An itinerary built around our preferences but flexible enough to change
  4. Small, intimate hotel suites

I just want to enjoy the trip without worrying about planning or logistics.

Couldn’t agree more!

Depends on the trip type…

Okay, say a culture-focused tour in Italy or France?

Definitely private tours and amazing restaurants. You’re out all day, anyway!

Time is really important to me. Once on a ‘luxury’ tour in Costa Rica, they took us to a coffee farm, which we weren’t interested in, and it drained our energy. I wish they’d asked, ‘Want to do the coffee tour? If not, let’s skip it and head to the resort.’ I’d rather have a few rich experiences than be rushed around all day.

Absolutely. Going with a private guide gives you control over the day. You can skip anything you’re not into.

I need recommendations for food, fun stuff, and an organized schedule. I want it all set up for me!
